When will my preorder be dispatched?
Estimated dispatch is the end of 2026. This is when we expect to send your case, rather than a guaranteed arrival date. We’ll email you with production updates and let you know if the estimate changes.
Full payment is taken when you order. If you need your case for a specific trip, please allow for possible delays.
What’s included with my Travel Case?
You’ll receive one Farava Travel Case with adjustable dividers, a zipped lid pocket, a carry handle, a removable shoulder strap and a rear suitcase-handle strap.
You also receive access to the Farava Founders Group, as well as a free digital copy of The Ultimate Guide To Traveling With Type 1 Diabetes.
Medication, devices and supplies shown in the photographs are not included. The Farava Cooling Case is a separate product under development and is not included with this preorder.
Will my diabetes supplies fit?
The dividers can be repositioned to arrange the compartments around your supplies. Capacity depends on your devices, packaging, quantities and the spares you carry.
Approximate external dimensions are 37.5 W × 27.5 H × 12.5 D cm; usable internal space is smaller. Photographs show example packing layouts. If you’re unsure about a particular item, contact us with its measurements before ordering.
Does the Travel Case keep insulin cool?
No. The Travel Case is an organiser and does not provide cooling, temperature control or thermal insulation. Always follow your medication’s storage instructions.
If you use a separate cooling pouch, check its manufacturer’s guidance before enclosing it inside the case, as some cooling products need airflow.
The cases flexible compartments means it can hold a wide range of different coolers inside.
Can I take it on a plane or use it as a medical bag?
The Travel Case can help keep your supplies together while travelling, but it does not automatically qualify for a free additional medical baggage allowance. Check your airline’s size limits, documentation requirements and any advance approval needed.
The medical supplies identifier does not provide special security clearance or guarantee faster screening. Follow the screening instructions for your specific medication, pump, CGM and spare devices—the case does not protect them from scanners.
Where do you deliver, and how much does delivery cost?
Website preorders are currently available for UK delivery, with delivery included at no extra charge.
International delivery options offered during our Kickstarter campaign were specific to that campaign. Existing Kickstarter backers do not need to order again through this website.
Can I cancel my preorder or return my case?
You can cancel before dispatch for a full refund. Contact us with your order number.
After delivery, you have 14 days to tell us you wish to cancel, followed by another 14 days to return the case. You can inspect it as you would in a shop; handling beyond that may result in a deduction if it reduces its value.
